1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LazyRatio (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.

2. Description of Service

LazyRatio is a structured learning tool designed for Canadian CFP (Certified Financial Planner) exam candidates. The Service provides guided concept exploration, case-based constructed-response practice, and rubric-based grading feedback to support preparation for the Case-based Constructed Response portion of the CFP exam.

LazyRatio is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to FP Canada or any official CFP certification body. The Service is an independent educational tool and does not guarantee exam results.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update your information as needed.

You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of any part of the Service.
  • Distribute, reproduce, or share content generated by the Service for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service, including through automated scripts, bots, or excessive requests.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely claim affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Use the Service to prepare content intended to be submitted as your own original work in a professional certification exam.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, case studies, grading rubrics, and software, are the exclusive property of LazyRatio and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any original content you submit to the Service, such as your case study responses. By submitting content, you grant LazyRatio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process that content for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. LazyRatio does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LazyRatio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

LazyRatio does not guarantee any specific outcome on the CFP exam or any other professional certification. Grading and feedback provided by the Service are for educational purposes only and should not be interpreted as predictions of exam performance.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
